I've finally decided to make a fanpage on facebook. Mainly just so anyone can look at my cosplay pics without having to actually friend me. Plus I'd like to start separating my cosplay stalkers/fans/friends with my real like friends seeing as how I tend to post mostly about my real life such as about something silly my son has done, or the cats being silly boys. So pretty much everything that random people on the internet don't need to know, ya know. Also seeing as how I tend to forget to actually post my cosplay pics on here I figured I'd at least post a link to my new facebook page.

I have been working on a couple different costumes and have been uploading the progress pics onto facebook. I've been working on a set of Halo 4 armor and I've started on Ren from DearS.

So yea if you'd like to be more up to date with me (cosplay wise) then I'd suggest adding my fanpage. That's pretty much going to e the only place I upload to mainly because its easier to use on mobile.

For Mega this year I'll be going as Mad Moxxi again because I procrastinated to long to actually start a costume from scratch. :/
BUT At least I've decided to fix my Moxxi costume to hopefully be more accurate.

List of things to fix up:

~Cut off all old trimming and attach new trimming (1/2 done)
~Reshape the cleavage area  (done)
~Make Blue and grey patches of different sizes
~Remake the Diamond on her back  (done)
~Cut and repaint the boots  (done)
~Paint the odd shaped dark red pin stripes (1/2 done)
~Remake the hat feathers  (done)
~Remake the hat
~Cut off the collar and remake it (done)
~Cut off the cuffs and remake them (2/3 done)
~Paint faint Blue swirls on the collar and cuffs (1/2 done)
~Reattach the buttons in the correct spots
~Make an elastic "hidden" support belt and attach all the belts to it (1/2 done)
~Buy and style a dark brown wig
~Buy Bright green contacts lens
~Figure out a better Make up routine


Pretty small list right? lol I've got a nice chunk done in only a few weeks.


I've been thinking of retiring Moxxi after this Megacon, so I plan on hiring a photographer during the con.  And so I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on what type of poses/scenes would be good for Moxxi?? Because quite frankly I've never done a photoshoot, All of my current pictures of Moxxi I made my cousin take for me while I did random poses.. lol

:3 Today I turned 21, yay!. A lovely family member gave me  $50 gift cards to Joann's and Bealls. Can Not wait to go shopping!

with my Joann's card I plan on buying fabric to either make a corset or a 50's style swing dress.
And my Bealls card I plan on buying some much needed new clothes. Probably just a pair of shorts and a tee shirt, depending on the prices there. Either way I'm actually just happy I got something for my Birthday!

So I've been constantly thinking of new cosplays i wanna attempt in the next few months but i keep second guessing myself.. I really want to do Ren from DearS but I'm having troubles finding a wig long enough.. Her hair is light blueish green and goes down way past her feet. I've Found a few wig styles that could potentially work but the color is never right... and i have no experience in wig dying.

Besides Ren, I'm also thinking of attempting Leina from Queens Blade. I'm currently working on different ways to create her armor, right now i'm using Plasti-dip on craft foam. once its all dried, i will be spray painting it with silver/chrome spray paint. if it looks god hen i probably WILL go all the way on this cosplay.

Even though i really want to do both these cosplays I've been worried that i'll put so much time, money and effort into making them and no one will even know/care what I'm cosplaying..

  Also I'm open to cosplay ideas!! nothing over cosplayed though.. nothing worse that finding tons of other people cosplaying the same thing as you.. takes away the wow factor imo.. if you can't tell by the cosplays i want to do, i like cosplaying slightly revealing characters. Not overly naked or anything, i don't mind showing cleavage and some butt cleavage lol
